Everyone is impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic – but for many business owners, this can be a scary time. Where do you turn for support, what do you do for clients and employees, how can you survive this?

Many small business owners are struggling with HR issues and have questions related to lay-offs and re-hiring, and keeping teams together during difficult times.

This week, Dawn McCooey is hosting an HR Advisor and a Lawyer to answer YOUR questions about these pressing issues at this challenging time.

Tanja Halsall, Chief People Officer of Potentia HR, will share her tips for communicating with your employees, engaging your teams and promoting mental health.

Charlene Cleary, Lawyer & Mediator of Westshore Law, will address the legal considerations related to temporary layoffs, and share some best practices and responsibilities to keep your employees connected while working from home.

Then, we’ll open it up for a Q&A!
