The arts and culture sector is evolving and the creative sector is emerging as a new economic engine. Many of the millennial generation are and will work in the creative sector. Our speakers will share their thoughts and experience on how culture, particularly music, contributes to the economy and quality of life in our communities.

Free admission.

Teresa MacQuarrie: Former Vancouver Island University professor, choral director, and community music organizer.

Panel respondents:

Margaret Inoeu: Economic Development Officer, District of Wells.

Daniel Bell: Music and promotions for events, Prince George Legion; owner, Mad Loon Promotions; music teacher, Dreamland School of Music; and, local musician.

Aidyl Jago: Vice-Chair and Sponsorship Manager, Prince George Folkfest Society (Coldsnap Festival); Personnel Manager, Prince George Symphony Orchestra; and, local musician.
