Event Details

The Museum of Northern BC is excited to announce that in January the Museum will be hosting a new travelling exhibit called Clovis, the Caribou Hunters, from the Sherbrooke Nature and Science Museum in Quebec! CLOVIS — THE CARIBOU HUNTERS transports us 12,000 years back in time in the tundra to discover the lifestyle of the first nomads to have roamed the south-east of Canada. The exhibit depicts the lifestyle of the Clovis culture, a paleolithic people from 12,000 years ago. Perfect for children and families, the exhibit includes many hands-on activities and educational highlights. A great archaeological adventure for kids and families!
