Aurora LNG is studying the viability of constructing and operating a liquefied natural gas (LNG) facility and marine terminal on the coast of BC, near Prince Rupert, on Digby Island. We are currently undertaking a thorough, independent environmental assessment process led by the Government of British Columbia Environmental Assessment Office (EAO).
As part of this process, you are invited to participate in an EAO Open House regarding our proposed project. Feedback received during this EAO Open House will be considered by the project team, along with environmental, technical and socio-economic considerations.

The EAO’s Public Comment period will begin on September 1, 2015 and end on October 1, 2015. All comments received during this period in relation to Aurora LNG’s draft Application Information Requirements (dAIR) will be considered.
Aurora LNG will continue to provide opportunities for engagement with First Nations, local communities and other stakeholders, both within the formal EAO public comment period (September 1 – October 1), as well as through ongoing Aurora LNG-led consultation.
