Looking for three males for the play Private Wars by James McLure.
The play’s about three troubled Vietnam vets recovering in a stateside hospital are not terribly complex; their conflicts with one another–involving how to pick up women, what underwear is most comfortable–are typically tempests in teapot.
The three characters are:
Woodruff Gately – a young southerner. Childlike, mentally slow but not stupid. The kind of man who at age 30 might chase a fire engine o see where it was going.
Salvio – Italian American. Street-wise, though but not cruel.
Natwick – a young man from Long Island. Intelligent spoiled. He should never have been in the armed forces
